Mormon Snapshot
Unlike biblical Christianity, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is defined by a series of Mormon snapshots. Each shot reveals a new and different view of the faith. Members understand their faith according to the Mormon snapshot that defines their personal experience.
As the perspective view of Mormonism changes, so do the Mormon people. Each succeeding generation has little or no understanding of what the faith meant to those who lived and died before. Mormon snapshots, one piled upon the next, lead to confusion. Confusion is the fruit of false religions. And, where confusion reigns, the assurance of salvation fades and dies.
Here, we will examine the claim of a man who knows his religion according to a Mormon snapshot, a singular moment in time. As the cited evidence flows from Mormon archives, the church will be exposed as a house on the sand, Matthew 7:24-27.
Update
After uploading this video, I went to Latter-day Lion and posted a comment. It read, “Here is the video that proves the Latter-day Lion wrong. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAZrBeFD1qM&t=0s”.
A day later, I returned to see if anyone replied. My comment was gone, removed, deleted. This got me thinking. There are many kinds of lions in the world.
The Lion King
Mufasa is bold, honorable, and filled with integrity. His priority is the welfare of all God’s creatures.
Young Simba is foolish and full of himself. He imagines all the things he thinks he is. In reality, he has the roar of a kitten and the courage of a cub. And when trouble comes, he runs away.
Adult Simba is filled with humility. He is starting to find the strength and courage of his father, Mufasa.
Scar is manipulative and malignant. He cares only for himself. He seeks to advance himself at the expense and through the demise of others.
There are many different kinds of lions. Latter-day Lion? Perhaps, but what manner of cat is he? What is there to recommend this snapshot Mormon?
Ask Your Bishop
Ask Your Bishop is a service for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). We compare biblical teachings with Mormon doctrines, theologies, and practices. Then, we ask questions that Mormon Bishops cannot answer. When your Bishop fails, we pray you will contact us.

Division in the Church
God hates division in the church, and so do I. It seems many who call themselves Christian love it. We would be wise to love what God loves and hate what He hates.
Public Debates and Conflicts
In public view, I have been demeaned, discredited, and challenged to formal debates.
In our yard, a few laying hens scratch, peck, eat bugs, and provide my breakfast. An old rooster struts and crows among them. He is impressive, but only to the hens. Their brain is the size of a pea and they are not image bearers of God. So, they are not difficult to impress.
If there are barnyard chickens in the body of Christ, I fear they are those who follow others who strut and crow.
Evil for Evil
My nature was, and sometimes still is, to strut and crow in the face of crowing stutters. However, while I acknowledge the evil in me, I attempt to rise above such things. I hope only to act according to our stated mission.

This is my story. For drama, it includes gag orders, police appearances, criminal charges, court appearances, and shunning. For eternity, it tells of a big God who saved a wretch like me!
