Before listening to this post, you may want to listen to the audio of my excommunication hearing.

The bible has several examples of mindless henchmen who worked great evil in Jesus’ day. They were the Temple Guards. These were the boys with spears and swards. With determination, they did the bidding of the Pharisees and Sadducees that made up the Sanhedrin. These were the thugs and bullies who kept the people in cowering submission. These were the functionaries of evil men, corrupt men, unprincipled men. The more things change, the more they say the same.

The modern Sanhedrin is made up of the prophets, apostles, regional and local leaders inside the Mormon church. The unprincipled henchmen include Dan McConkie and the other functionaries at Kirton McConkie, Attorneys at Law.

In Acts 4 & 5 we read the story of the Sanhedrin’s godless treatment of Peter and John. There was an order to never again speak of their faith. When the apostles refused to keep the order and again preached of Jesus, the Sanhedrin did all in their power to harm them.

Can anyone tell me how my story with the Mormon Sanhedrin and its paid thugs is different? I am convinced that they are working from the same play-book used  against Jesus and his followers.

Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.

Acts 5:41

  1. […] In the five years that followed my excommunication, I have attended weddings, funerals, and more at Mormon church houses. In each case, I was forced to come no closer than the physical property line. Should I cross that property line even to attend the funeral of my own mother, I have the assurance of Dan McConkie that I will be charged and prosecuted yet again. […]

  2. […] In the summer of 2017, Stake President Garn Lovell excommunicated me from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During that excommunication hearing, 911 was called, and a false police report was filed. Based on false allegations about my behavior at that hearing, a persona non grata letter was generated. A lead attorney for the church called me to make sure I understood the church’s determination to prosecute. […]

Lance, I find the actions of the Church and their legal staff to be a total sham. I have heard of this type of character coming from the Church, in the past. However, I have never heard it with my own ears until listening to the video. They are like the night stalkers, who all scurry into hiding when the light is shown upon them. Very reveling and sad. Keep up the fight. And let me know how I can help.
