The preserved Word of God tells us all we need to know about the nature and character of God. Recently Jacob Hanson, of Ward Radio, has attempted to normalise the everchanging Mormon God. As a general rule, I pay little attention to such people. But, when they launch false accusations against God and His people, something must be said.
It is good that we should speak about the nature of God. It is right that we do this. But, when one side disrespects the entirety of the opposing side, when the one falsely accuses the other of not caring enough to share in love, all our efforts to communicate in love will be in vain.
A widely accepted standard of biblical hermeneutics insists that scripture cannot contradict scripture. Therefore, when a man rejects a portion of scripture in order to establish and defend a truth claim, it is evident that his interpretation is false.

- Seeing that Jacob Hansen has rejected the clear meaning of Isaiah 43:10, can we trust any interpretation in the absence of that passage?
