A New Creature
The Bible teaches that the old man dies and a new creation rises in Christ. Oh, the wonder of this new birth, this new life.
The old Lance was very much at home as a zealous Mormon and political columnist. If someone attacked, criticized, or accused me, I struck back without mercy.
The love and grace of Jesus rescued me from the pit of my making. Miraculously, the old Lance began falling away to be replaced with something wonderfully new. I watch in awe at the revelation that it is no longer I who live, but Christ living in me (Galatians 2:20).
This past Sunday, a man, a Mormon, the Mormon, accused me of plotting, planning, and threatening to kill a Mormon Stake President. As I reflect on this, I stand amazed that I didn’t race to my defense. Instead, I thought and taught about how this affects the accuser’s eternity. I could not return evil for evil and instead returned love.
None of this is because I am good. It is all about Christ who lives in me. I can’t deny that the old Lance once lived. Nor can I deny all the things he was. Thankfully, he has become a total stranger to me.
False Accusation, a Tool of Wicked Men
Recent events have caused me to consider the use of false accusations in the past, in the present, and in the future.
From the beginning, wicked men used false accusations to justify, at least in their own minds, the persecution and execution of God and godly men.
False accusations justified killing God’s prophets in the Old Testament. It was the excuse that justified the trial, scourging, and crucifixion of Jesus. Similarly, wicked men exiled John and murdered the remaining apostles. False accusations justified the stoning of Stephen and the murder of innumerable first-century Christians.
Domestic Accusations of the Wicked
In many parts of the world, the practice continues to this day. Thankfully, we in the United States are sheltered from the bloody end game of this extreme evil. Praise God for that.
The Mormon Church excommunicated me and labeled me a man who seeks opportunities to use violence against small Mormon children. Now, nearly a decade later, the accusation of conspiracy to commit murder, of threatening to kill a ranking Mormon leader, lifts its ugly head. You don’t have to take my word in these matters. Follow the preceding link or view the following video to hear these accusations fall from Mormon lips.
If this new accusation against me is true, it is a crime of a high order. The Mormon Church has already displayed its willingness to press charges and haul me into criminal court. Why then has the Mormon Church failed to bring charges for threatening the lives of its leaders and children? The answer to this question is simple. These accusations are baseless, but they serve a purpose. Mormon leaders know that fully indoctrinated Mormons will believe whatever falls from their lips. And those who believe will react with open and aggressive hate toward every perceived enemy.
Editors Update
The Bible indicates that disciples of Jesus will have many enemies who will persecute in a variety of ways. In the video below, I documented men who are enemies, including a Mormon Bishop and Stake President. These facts are established…

- Mormon Persecution At The Expense Of Liz
- Deliver You Over to Courts
- Community Wide Defamation of Character
- rock vs The Rock
- Cast Out, a Funeral from the Curb
- The Collapse of False Religion
These men have proven their destructive intent toward me. Even so, having an enemy does not make me an enemy. Nor does it prove that I have ill intent toward any of these men. As a follower of Jesus, my only function is to return love for every wrong. May God assist me in this important matter.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
